But oh how I love their cookies. Actually its just the Samoas. Each year when I buy my one box I always think to myself...how could I make these on my own? Its just a little shortbread with caramel, coconut and chocolate. So today I tried, I'm not sure how it turned out yet. I had this recipe from Joy of Cooking for a chocolate covered toffee bar so I thought I would adapt that to work for the samoas...it might have. I just have to get them cut out of the pan.
Oh yeah...today we celebrated Ryan's 24th birthday. I told him that 24 seemed so old. I feel like 24 is an age where you really aren't a kid anymore. Ryan and I have been leading mostly adult lives since we were 20 but I don't know if the rest of the world believes that, but I feel that at 24 we will really be grown up...its kind of crazy that I even think that.
